WICKED WISDOM To Record Second Album In October

March 24, 2006

According to The Jackson Citizen Patriot, WICKED WISDOM — the five-piece band featuring actress Jada Pinkett Smith (wife of Will Smith) — will be on tour until April 1; after a short break, the group will go back on the road with SEVENDUST in May. Smith plans to film "Empty City" with Adam Sandler, Don Cheadle and Liv Tyler later in the year and enter the studio with WICKED WISDOM to record the band's second album in October.

For now, though, the focus is on live performance, and Smith said she counts on her listeners to keep things exciting.

"It's the audience, the audience does that," Smith told The Jackson Citizen Patriot. "They paid good money to be here tonight, and you've got to give the best you've got. It's about the dance between the audience and the artist. You say to yourself, 'Get ready, it's time to tango.' "

WICKED WISDOM's self-titled debut album was released on February 21 via 100% Womon/Suburban Noize Records.
